Greensboro, NC USA Field Service Bulletin Trucks Date Group No. Release Page 6.2013 364 036 01 1(5) Flasher Replacement CHU, CXU, GU, TD FSB 364-036, Flasher Replacement (June 2013) Mack is removing the flasher 20971013 from production and the aftermarket due to the durability issues of the flasher. The 20971013 flasher will be replaced by 25162061 in the aftermarket. This will increase the reliability of the flasher circuit and the vehicle. Follow the procedure to replace the flasher if needed. If you are not properly trained and certified in this procedure, ask your supervisor for training before you perform it. 1 Secure the vehicle for service by parking it on a flat level surface, applying the parking brake, chocking the rear wheel, and placing the transmission in neutral. 2 Disconnect all cables from the negative (ground) battery terminals to prevent personal injury from electrical shock and prevent damage to electrical components. 3 Remove the upper dash panel covering the fuse and relay center. Field Service Bulletin Date 6.2013 Group No. Release 364 036 01 5 Install the new “Kysor Flasher” into position and secure with drill and drives as needed. W3082444 6 Connect the harness end into the socket position for the flasher connection. 7 Connect both end of the pigtails together. W3082446 Page 3(5) Mack Trucks, Inc.
