SUBJECT: Driver And Passenger HVAC Blower Air Temperatures Are Not The Same When "Sync" Setting Mode Is Selected And Headlamps Always Stay On . OVERVIEW: This bulletin involves selectively replacing the solar sensor. MODELS: 2011-2014 (JF) Freemont 2011-2014 (RT) Town Country /Caravan 2012-2014 (WK) Grand Cherokee 2012-2014 (JK) Wrangler 2012-2014 (LX) 300 NOTE: This bulletin applies to vehicles equipped with Dual Zone Automatic Temperature Control (sales code HAF or HAD) or equipped with Triple Zone Automatic Temperature Control (sales code HAH) or equipped with Automatic Headlamps (sales code LMG) built :JF/RT/WK : on or before September 10, 2013 (MOH 091 OXX) ; JK: on or before June 01 , 2013 (MOH 0601XX); LX: on or before October 22, 2013 (MOH 1022XX). SYMPTOM/CONDITION: Customers may experience the following condition : • • When using the Automatic Temperature Control "SYNC" mode, left and right outlet temperatures do not match regardless of the desired temperature setting is the same . Occupants will experience being cold (winter time) , on either passenger or driver side, even though the temperature setting is the same . Headlamps are always staying on , when they are set to Auto mode. DIAGNOSIS: Using a Scan Tool (wiTECH ™) with the appropriate Diagnostic Procedures available in TechCONNECT, verify all HVAC systems are functioning as designed . Check headlamps functionality following the detailed procedures available in TechCONNECT, refer to 29Exterior Lighting. If DTC's are present record them on the repair order and repair as necessary before proceeding further with this bulletin . If no issue is found after performing published diagnostics rep lace the Sun Load sensor 24-002-14 -2- following the Repair Procedure. PARTS REQUIRED: Qty. Part No .
