will process your personal data as described below.
Purpose and legal basis for processing
We process the personal data that you provide in connection with the creation of your VIDA account.
The purpose of our processing is to administer your VIDA account (from registration to eventual
termination of the account), to provide you with all the functionality related to VIDA, to allow access to
VIDA and to communicate updates related to VIDA. Log data generated when using VIDA is processed
as necessary or appropriate to safeguard the security and functionality of VIDA for example against
malware or unauthorized access.
The legal basis for our processing as described above is legitimate interest in order to provide VIDA and
related services to the workshops. You have full rights in accordance with the GDPR - Please direct any
GDPR request to Volvo cars using the contact information on our Subject Request form (https://www.
volvocars.com/intl/footer/contact-us/subject-request/subject-request-form).
Disclosure and recipients of your personal data
Your personal data will be disclosed to and processed by companies within the same group of companies
as Volvo cars (if applicable).
Produced in the USA and available as an electronic document. Hard copy documents are printed in USA on recycled paper containing
a minimum of 50% wastepaper and 10% post-consumer waste.

Retention time
We will process your personal data provide in connection with the creation of your VIDA account for a
period of maximum 1 year from the date of ending your VIDA subscription.
