PROCEDURE
DANGER
Park vehicle safely, apply parking brake, stop engine. Prior to working on the vehicle, set the ignition
switch to the OFF position and trip the main circuit breakers equipped with a trip button. On Commuter
type vehicles, set the battery master switch (master cut-out) to the OFF position.
Lock out & Tag out (LOTO) must be performed during set-up, maintenance or repair activities. Refer to
your local procedure for detailed information regarding the control of hazardous energy.
1.
Release accessory air pressure.
2.
Locate the accessory air filter in the front
service compartment.
3.
Remove air lines to/from filter.

Remove filter mounting screws.

Remove filter. Keep as reference for fitting
arrangement.

Using removed filter as a reference, assemble a similar fitting arrangement on the new filter.Fitting
orientation may vary by model.

Transfer any additional fittings from the
original arrangement. Use 680098
Loctite 567 liquid Teflon on fittings.

Install the new filter.

Check for any leaks.
10. Confirm proper tank pressure and proper
operation of accessories.
