It is now available to download and update your workshop computer. Please download (from the Triumph Diagnostic Tool page under the Service/Technical menu on TOL) today and commence using immediately. This release addresses the following subjects with more information and model listing in the attached Release Notes. General Improvements · DTC description management migrated to a new database. This gives the flexibility to implement system specific descriptions in the future, for DTCs that can be reported by multiple ECM types. · The “Cycle the Ignition” instructions have been improved in the ABS download and Unlock ECM processes for the Tiger 1200 GT and Tiger 1200 Rally model ranges. The “Cycle the Ignition” instructions are now as follows: 1. Press the Power ON/OFF button to turn the ignition OFF 2. Press the Engine Start Button to turn the ignition ON 3. Make sure the Engine Stop Switch is in the RUN position. · Key pairing - Key ignition models fitted with an LDL Immobiliser – Onscreen feedback improved for key pairing failures that occur due to a timeout error. The most likely causes of timeout errors are a faulty key transponder chip, or faulty ignition barrel antenna. The following feedback will now be displayed if a timeout error is detected when using the Add new Key or Reregister all Keys features: o Add new key to immobiliser system failed – Time Out – Possible Key or Antenna Fault o Register keys with immobiliser system failed – Time Out – Possible Key or Antenna Fault Engine Diagnostics - connection times improved. Bug Fixes · IUPR data collection – Odometer value collection improved.
