• Recall 82122 [USA]: If the srs warning light is ignored and a vehicle crash of sufficient severity to command deployment of the driver's air bag occurs, the air bag module may not deploy in the intended manner. the condition may result in the deployment of only one stage of the dual stage driver's air bag or the air bag may not deploy at all increasing the risk of serious injuries to the driver.
  Land rover is recalling 37,142 my 2005-2006 lr3 and range rover sport vehicles. Relative motion between the steering wheel hub and/or the steering column cowl with the clockspring, which includes the driver side air bag circuitry, could result in fracturing of the air bag wiring connection. If an air bag wire fractures, the srs warning light will illuminate on the instrument cluster. The srs warning light indicates to the driver that there is a concern with the srs system in the vehicle and that immediate repair is necessary.
  dealers will insert 1mm spacers between the lower left hand side of the column switch mounting point and the column lock to improve the alignment of the column switch. Two foam pads will also be fitted to the top of the steering column switch gear to provide assured clearance between the cowl and the clockspring face. The recall began on july 30, 2008. When i backed my range rover up over the side curb it locked my steering. I can only turn my wheel when the truck is driving it has no power while in just sitting at a light. Makes it difficult to park my truck because i can't turn the wheel without gas to the truck. I took it to auto zone to see if it was power steering but no noise the fluids are in there.

Sunroof drain tube becomes dry rough overtime , causing the elbow attached to the side fender to break off. Instead of water from the rain draining out . The passenger side floor becomes soak and wet causing electric damage to wiring that controls windows and chairs and sunroof etc

The steering column mobization have gone on it. And the range rover dealership want to fix it for 8700.00 i can't afford it and i'm an elderl. Please find out is there a recall.

Tl* the contact owns a 2006 land rover range rover. While driving 25 mph, smoke was seen coming from the passenger side door. In addition, when the vehicle was shifted out of park, the side mirrors failed to move. The vehicle was towed to the dealer (jaguar land rover seattle, 19910 poplar way, lynnwood, wa 98036) where it was diagnosed that the electric heated windshield had an internal failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 83,581.

Tl* the contact owns a 2006 land rover range rover. When the vehicle was started, all the warning indicators illuminated on the instrument panel. The vehicle would not continuously run without all of the indicators illuminating in error. The vehicle was not taken to the local dealer for repairs. The manufacturer was not contacted. The vin was unknown. The failure mileage was 160,000.

This vehicle was taken back by the manufacturer for electrical issues it was then resold. I just purchased it and it has serious electrical issues. I have owned it a month and it had codes within 48 hours of purchase. System failure codes. The battery is good and is drained every night and every time i go to work. This vechicle is essentially usuless and i just purchased it. It flashes random tire pressure system failure codes when it wants. Just random. It is one thing after another. Luckily nothing super safety related yet. It was manufactured wrong and was never repaired and now i am stuck with a vehicle i can't use after i have made one payment on it.

Front dash has cracked all the way across. I am so afraid that this will affect the airbag and cause it to deploy prematurely
