DESCRIPTION
The multi Information display (MID) and navigation system support for diagnostics, parts authorization, and
parts exchange require contacting the proper source. Please contact the appropriate source by referring to the
following tables.
• DENSO Navigation Help Desk at 888-285-4236 from 7am-5pm Pacific Standard Time.
– Part authorization for DENSO parts is required prior to exchange.
• United Radio - refer to Dealer Assistance Group’s “Exchange Central” on MX Connect.
– Part authorization for United Radio parts is NOT required prior to exchange.

All other components such as GPS antenna, are available without prior authorization as a service
part or as an exchange part through United Radio.
For in-stock vehicles, dealers will be directed to order new parts. Only in-stock vehicles require
installation of a new component and DSM authorization. Please contact Dealer Assistance Group.
DENSO will provide warranty part exchange for navigation and non-navigation equipped vehicles
with Multi-Information Display (MID) concerns.
Reference Warranty Bulletin (Category AD / Number 8) / Mazda Warranty Policies and Procedures
Manual for parts exchange procedures. Failure to follow the proper warranty procedures may result
in a warranty debit.
Some, but not all components available as exchange for warranty repairs are available as exchange
for out of warranty repairs. Please contact the supplier for prices and availability.
