2016 CHEVROLET MALIBU with 56000.0 miles

'tamara recall' i was driving to work when my check engine light came on and a warning said 'engine power loss' and my car slowed down to 40mph, i was on the highway, speed limit of 65, i also got and email saying there was a problem with my engine and transmission system, i took it in to be looked at,2 codes piped up saying P1101 which is the throttle body and P2318 which is (app) gas pedal, my check engine light was turned off, it didn't come back on for a couple of days, then it turned back on, by the next morning it went off by itself! I believe this should be recall

Several times a week my car will suddenly go into "engine power reduced" mode and go into low speed. If i get out of the car, lock it, and unlock it 30 seconds later it will reset and then be okay for a few minutes. This power reduction is exceedingly dangerous when moving at highway speeds and suddenly needing to pull over. The check engine light will come on but then disappear sometimes the same day after having parked for a while. Typically the car goes into this "reduced power mode" after about 45 minutes of driving. I was able to capture the following error codes: P1101 (intake air flow system performance), P2122 (throttle position sensor d circuit low input), and P2138 (throttle/pedal position sensor/switch d/e voltage correlation). Really hoping this will be replaced under warranty instead of having to get it fixed myself!

2013 BUICK REGAL with 28300.0 miles

Codes present in computer are P1101 air intake performance, P0101 mass air flow circuit a failure. The car has reduced power and surging during acceleration. Stumbling at start up. The vehicle's turbo wastegate fails to close before 3,500 rpm therefore causing a severe spool time on turbocharger the manufacture is unable to repair as per the 4 months the car has been being diagnosed and finally the service manager has admitted they are unable to repair the vehicle. Corporate gm in involved along with field technicians. Since the vehicle has been returned to me still failing now has active codes for U0100 lost communication with ecm, U0140 lost communication with body control module, U0128 lost communication with parking brake module, U0073 communication bus a off, U0101 lost communication with transmission control module since the can-bus is failing the car is now trying to stall intermittently while driving any speed.

2013 CHEVROLET SONIC with 80000 miles

My 2013 chevy Sonic developed ticking sound shortly after i bought it at 60000 miles. The ticking got worse over time and then check engine light came on. I scanned the codes and multiple four codes were found. P0171, P0496, P1101, and P2270. After doing some research it seemed to be that most cruze, Sonic, and trax vehicles all had the same issues. I took it to the dealer for diagnostics and was informed the vehicle needed a new intake manifold, purge valve, pcv hose, and valve cover. They called the dealership to see if there were any recalls and the only one was the valve cover but would have to pay for diagnostics to see if they would cover it or not. The breather diaphragm in the valve cover goes bad due to a fault intake manifold on these vehicle models. There is a little orange gasket in the manifold that goes bad and causes the diaphragm to go out resulting in having to replace the entire system. The intake manifold not only causes ghat issue but causes the car to get jumpy at stops and stalling out. Have almost had a few people rear end me due to this. The purge valve goes out as well and when at the fuel pump the car will hesitate to crank or run at very low idle shutting off multiple times before it starts up and then runs rough until a decent amount of fuel has ran through the engine. The car would not get enough fuel when at stops or on highways and would also just lose fuel and cut the engine off. Those components have since been replaced by myself and no more issues. Chevy will not recall the parts that are causing the issues and therefore there is a safety issue when out on the highways.

2012 CHEVROLET CRUZE with 83000.0 miles

Even after free repair due to being covered under warranty, the new pcv valve and cover are leaking again. Engine idles roughly, both in park and in drive. This is a known issue with Chevrolet Cruze, but my vin is not part of the recall. Main error code P0171- bank 1 system too lean- is being picked up (check engine light came on yesterday morning (april 10, 2018)), along with error codes: P0106, P015B, P0236, P0237, P1101, P112D.

2004 CADILLAC SRX with 98000.0 miles

Random engine stall, after engine is fully warmed up and high humidity (especially during raining). Obd ii code indicating P2135, P2119, P2176, P0638, P1101. (each time the obd ii code might be slightly different) the engine could stall during idle (stopping in front of red light), slow moving, or highway speed. Persisted since summer of 2012. Dealer already replaced throttle body, coil pack, spark plugs and ecm. Dealer could not reproduce the problem, and could not figure out a fix.
