Complaint:
Engine diagnosis lamp in instrument cluster lights up. Various fault codes are stored in the engine control unit. Oil can
escape at the oxygen sensor, HFM sequential multiport fuel injection/ignition system, engine control unit, or various
engine wiring harness plugs.
Cause:
Leakage in the camshaft adjuster solenoid/actuator
Remedy:
In the case of complaint replace the components affected and also put the adapter plug on the solenoid between
them. Attach the adapter as can be seen from the enclosed pictures with clip retainer and tie strap.
