  Some vehicles may have been manufactured with an incorrect driver seat wiring harness layout which can cause the seat wiring harness to rub against metal points on the seat/seat frame assembly through normal seat adjustment operation. Over time this can lead to an inoperative seat adjustment system and in rare cases a potential risk of fire due to an electrical short to ground between the seat wiring harness and the seat adjustment motor assembly.
  replace 2 seat circuit breakers with 25 amp mini-fuses check harness apply protective barrier and reposition if undamaged. If damaged replace harness and then ensure repositioned and protective barrier applied.

  It has been identified that the locking nut of the differential pinion may not have been tightened to the correct specification. This will be identified to the driver by noise generated from the differential and also possible vibration. If these warning signs are ignored and with prolonged use in this condition then it could result in a possible failure/locking of the differential and the subsequent loss of control of the vehicle.
  recall all affected vehicle to check the tightness of the locking nut on the differential pinion. If it is found to be incorrect then the differential will be replaced and possibly the drive-shaft if projections or metal contaminates are found in the differential rear cover.

Through normal seat adjustment, this could cause the seat wiring harness to rub against metal points on the seat/seat frame assembly. This could cause the bolt to loosen, which could result in noise from the rear of the vehicle.   On certain vehicles, the driver side floor mat anchors could break over time which could allow the floor mat to slide forward and potentially allowing the accelerator to become stuck in the wide open position. A fully depressed accelerator pedal may result in very high vehicle speeds and make it difficult to slow or stop the vehicle. This could result in a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. The contact owns a 2016 maserati ghibli. The contact stated that while his wife was driving 50 mph, merging onto the interstate, the vehicle loss motive power without warning. The vehicle was towed to the dealer and the vehicle was waiting to be diagnosed. The vehicle remained at the dealer. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 38,000.

The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic who determined that there were no brake pads on the vehicle and the rotors needed to be replaced. I was entering hollywood casino to valet my car , i approached the valet man and he told me to hold off a minute before he could get to my car then a few mins later he waved me to drive up and my car took off like a torpedo , the car started revving up and took off and i couldn't stop it even though i had my foot all the way the to the floor on the brake , i smashed into a car in front of me about 30 feet ahead and thank god no one was in the car , there is a video of this that will only be released to insurance companies or other agencies, i was so frightened by this that i was in shock for several hours didn't understand how the car just accelerated like that , i have witnesses that were there which were the valet guys and a security officer , its all on camera very scary situation , if another car wasn't there to stop me i might of been dead . The security wrote up a report , it can be gotten from ofc [xxx] at [xxx] or the compliance dept his name is [xxx] , there s a recall on the car for vehicle speed control from march 1, 2016 and i leased my car in april and the dealership never mentioned a word to me , which this problem should of either been told to me at least and fixed the problem before handing me the car , i am lucky to be alive, the incident happened approx at 5:15 pm on august 13, 2016.
