• Recall 32827 [USA]: If the bolt is loose, the driver will hear a rattling noise and notice vibration. if the bolt comes off completely, the driver can experience difficulty in controlling the direction of the vehicle which could result in a crash.
  During production, a select number of vehicles underwent an offline inspection at the assembly plant where a bolt in the front suspension assembly was removed. On some of these vehicles, it is possible that this bolt may not have been tightened to specification when it was reinstalled.

• Recall 2007170 [Canada]: Suspension
  On certain vehicles, the transverse link attachment to the front suspension may not have received adequate tightening torque during vehicle assembly process. A loose transverse link bolt may cause a rattling noise and a vibration. If the bolt comes off completely, the driver may experience difficulty maintaining vehicle control. This could result in a vehicle crash causing injury or death. Correction: dealers will replace attachment bolts and torque new fasteners to specified value.

• Fuel level gauge system failure investigation # PE14012

  On may 8, 2014, the office of defects investigations (odi) opened preliminary evaluation pe14-012 to investigate allegations of inaccurate fuel tank fill level while driving resulting in the vehicle running out of fuel in model year (my) 2007 nissan quest vehicles.During this investigation, nissan identified a condition in the subject vehicles that may result in the fuel gauge falsely indicating more than the actual amount of fuel remaining in the gas tank. According to nissan, the combination meter voltage divider circuit for the sender unit may have one of two resistors open or lifted resulting in a fuel gauge malfunction and inaccurate fuel level reading.When this condition occurs, the fuel gauge in the combination meter will continue to track the actual amount of fuel in the gas tank down to approximately one quarter of a tank.However, the fuel gauge will not go any lower which may cause drivers to run out of fuel unexpectedly.Additionally, odi analyzed complaint data provided by nissan as well as complaints submitted to odi from consumers. In total, odi identified 136 unique complaints indicating an inaccurate fuel level reading while driving in the subject vehicles. Seventy (70) fuel gauge related stalls were identified, resulting in a complaint rate of 1.85 incidents per thousand vehicles after approximately 8 years in service. In addition, analysis of warranty and combination meter part sales data provided by nissan indicate a claim rate of less than 1% for all part replacements involving fuel gauge malfunctions.During pe14-012, nissan developed a remedy procedure and issued service campaign pc 335 on approximately 68,003 my 2007 through 2009 nissan quest vehicles.Owners of the affected vehicles will receive preliminary notification by mail recommending owners to keep fuel level above ½ tank at all times until repair parts become available.Once the remedy kits become available, nissan plans to send another letter to affected customers to take their vehicle to a nissan dealer who will install an external amplifier box with jumper harness in the combination meter to bypass the electric circuit and ensure accurate fuel level indication.The bulletin was sent to dealers on december 19th, 2014 and the owner letter mailing began on december 31st, 2014. The vehicle was towed to an independent mechanic. The contact was informed that the subframe needed to be replaced. The contact called the local dealer walser nissan wayzata (15906 wayzata blvd, wayzata, mn 55391, (612) 426-6995) and made the dealer aware of the failure. The manufacturer had not been informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 2,500.

I just replaced all the motor mounts on my 2007 nissan quest. They have gone bad again. After looking up many forums online, this appears to be a very common issue and possible design flaw. Why has this not become a recall on nissan's part? Are motor mounts not a concern? Everyone is stating that no matter what they use, either aftermarket or genuine nissan parts, they all fail.

My 2007 nissan quest with144,500 miles, has a real bad clunking sound when accelerating, decelerating, or taking off from a standstill. A mechanic told me that it is from bad motor mounts. When accelerating or braking, the motor moves a lot. It does not make any more noises when turning, mainly win braking and accelerating, but also when the transmission shifts up or down a gear.

The gas gauge must be faulty. If i fill up may move or not. Usually shows empty. The van may be moving or sitting still . I called nissan dealership and was vin was included in the recall. I can't understand why because has the same issue as the 68,000 vans that were repaired. I think the part is called sender unit.

Severe sub-frame rot only on passenger side. Brought to my attention during routine maintenance, and was told this was a very common issue. Driver side appears fine. Appears a/c drip is suspect, and the frame just rots directly below it. Online search revealed numerous exact complaints. All other components are solid. How is this not a safety recall? *tr
