This “cap” will NOT have a gauge or “dipstick”. This is normal. Do NOT replace the “cap” because it is thought to have a “dipstick”. No gauge The fluid level is not checked from this location. The fluid level for applied vehicles is checked from the oil pan (refer to the appropriate section of the Electronic Service Manual [ESM]). Whenever checking, filling, or topping off a CVT’s fluid level of an applied vehicle for any reason, use the procedure outlined in the appropriate section of the ESM. “CAP” Nissan Bulletins are intended for use by qualified technicians, not 'do-it-yourselfers'. Qualified technicians are properly trained individuals who have the equipment, tools, safety instruction, and know-how to do a job properly and safely. NOTE: If you believe that a described condition may apply to a particular vehicle, DO NOT assume that it does. See your Nissan dealer to determine if this applies to your vehicle. 1/1
