Please discard all previous versions of this bulletin. 2013-2017 Pathfinder (R52) 2014-2015 Pathfinder Hybrid (R52) 2013-2017 Sentra (B17) 2014-2016 Rogue (T32) 2014-2017 NV200 (M20) 2015-2017 Murano (Z52) APPLIED VEHICLES: APPLIED TRANSMISSION: 2016 Murano Hybrid (Z52) 2013-2017 Altima Sedan (L33) 2012-2017 Versa Sedan (N17) 2014-2017 Versa NOTE (E12) 2016-2017 Maxima (A36) Vehicles equipped with CVT ONLY NOTE: Bulletin does not apply to Rogue Select (S35) or Taxi SERVICE INFORMATION Applied vehicles equipped with a CVT have a “cap” that appears to be a fluid level gauge. This “cap” will NOT have a gauge or “dipstick”. This is normal. Do NOT replace the “cap” because it is thought to have a “dipstick”. No gauge The fluid level is not checked from this location. The fluid level for applied vehicles is checked from the oil pan (refer to the appropriate section of the Electronic Service Manual [ESM]). Whenever checking, filling, or topping off a CVT’s fluid level of an applied vehicle for any reason, use the procedure outlined in the appropriate section of the ESM. “CAP” Nissan Bulletins are intended for use by qualified technicians, not 'do-it-yourselfers'. Qualified technicians are properly trained individuals who have the equipment, tools, safety instruction, and know-how to do a job properly and safely.
