** SOLUTION **
Cause
Volvo Vehicles built between May 16, 2011 and November 14, 2011 are equipped with
an engine turbocharger bypass valve. On October 17, 2011 a main software update
reprograms the engine control module ( ECM ) and the bypass valve is deactivated.

For more information regarding deletion of the Discharge Recirculation Valve ( DRV
) refer to FSB 258-029 , Engine Turbocharger Compressor Bypass Valve Deletion Kit,
Installation - found in the eMedia Center, located in the Applications section on Trucks
