  Ford motor company (ford) is recalling certain 2015 f-650 and f-750 trucks, equipped with certain spicer d-series and e-series steer axles. The castellated nut on the steer axles may not be properly torqued, allowing the tie rod to loosen.

The fuel control valve solenoid may short circuit, shutting off the flow of propane to the engine, causing the engine to shut off.

  Issue: this recall is for aftermarket replacement rear window glass produced by vitro automotriz. Certain rear window glass may not have been properly tempered. If the window breaks, the glass may separate into large pieces instead of very small ones. Note: this is a voluntary recall that is not being conducted under the requirements of the motor vehicle safety act. Safety risk: glass that breaks in to large pieces could create a risk of injury. Corrective actions: the company will notify consumers by mail and instruct them to inspect the designation code marked on the rear window glass. Products affected by this recall have the designation “dot 287” along with the lettering “vmr” (replacement market) and a date code that is before july 2019.   Certain vehicles equipped with a 70/30 fixed passenger bench seat may fail to conform to canada motor vehicle safety standard 210 – seat belt assembly anchorages. The floor attachment locations for the 70% front passenger and center seat belt anchorages are outside of the parameters specified by the standard. An improperly positioned seat belt anchorage may reduce the seat belt’s ability to properly restrain the occupant during a crash, increasing the risk of personal injury. Correction: dealers will install safety restraint anchorage point relocation bracket kits.
