  • Recall 200091 [USA]: An unsecured child restraint system can increase the risk of injury during a crash.
    Daimler vans usa, llc (dvusa) is recalling certain 2021 mercedes-benz sprinter, metris, and freightliner sprinter vehicles equipped with automatic locking retractor (alr) seat belt assemblies. The seat belt automatic locking retractors may deactivate early, which can prevent the child restraint system from securing properly. As such, these assemblies fail to comply with the requirements of federal motor vehicle safety standard number 208, "occupant crash protection."

  • Recall 2021494 [Canada]: Seats and restraints
    Issue: on certain vehicles, the passenger seat belt assemblies may contain defective automatic locking retractors (alr). As a result, the seat belts may not properly lock to secure a child seat. Note: the vehicle's lower universal anchorage system (uas) is not affected by this defect and may still be used to secure a child seat. Safety risk: a seat belt that is used to secure a child restraint but is not properly locked could increase the risk of injury in a crash. Corrective actions: mercedes-benz will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to inspect the seat belts. They will be replaced, if necessary.

  • Recall 2022103 [Canada]: Fuel supply
    Issue: on certain vehicles, the connections on the fuel supply hose may not be properly attached. As a result, fuel could leak in the engine compartment. Safety risk: a fuel leak can create the risk of a fire. Corrective actions: mercedes-benz will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to check the upper and lower connections on the fuel transition hose. The dealer will replace the clamps and the fuel hose, if required.
