• Recall 138322 [USA]: If the fuel tank separates from the vehicle, it could be a road hazard and the vehicle would stall. either scenario increases the risk of a crash.
  Prevost cars, inc. (prevost) is recalling certain 2008-2018 h3-41, h3-45, h3-45 vip, x3-45, x3-45 vip, x3-45 vip entertainer, and xl2 motor coaches. The fuel tank cradle supports may have gaps at the points where the cradle connects to the coach frame, which can allow the attachment bolts to loosen and fail causing the fuel tank to fall from the vehicle.

• Recall 108571 [USA]: The fuel line rubbing may result in abrasion and a fuel leak, increasing the risk of a fire.
  Prevost cars, inc. (prevost) is recalling certain model year 2007-2012 xlii, x3-45, h3-41, h3-45, and h3-45 vip vehicles manufactured july 5, 2007, to may 11, 2012. The affected vehicles may be missing a fuel line locating clip, allowing the fuel line to rub against the braided coolant hose.

• Recall 101800 [USA]: Once electrically conductive, the material is capable of melting and burning, increasing the risk of a fire.
  Marathon coach, inc. (marathon) is recalling certain model year 2001-2013 marathon conversions prevost xl, and h3 motorcoaches equipped with sure power-brand battery equalizers or dc-dc converters containing a particular epoxy sealing, aka 'potting', compound. The specific potting compound used in the subject products for insulation was found to be capable of conducting electricity after being exposed to heat.

• Recall 93730 [USA]: Uncontrollable throttle position may lead to a loss of vehicle control, increasing the risk of a crash.
  Prevost is recalling certain model year 2008-2013 x3-45, h3-41 and h3-45 coaches, model year 2011-2013 h3-45 vip coaches, model year 2012-2013 x3-45 vip coaches, and model year 2009-2013 xlii-45 entertainer coaches manufactured from may 16, 2007, through march 14, 2013 and equipped with volvo engines. Certain conditions may cause the affected coaches to go into a software mode that would result in the throttle signal being fixed at 1700rpms regardless of throttle pedal input from the driver.

• Recall 68897 [USA]: The user of the lift could be injured should the lift move without the restraint belt properly buckled.
  Prevost has notified nhtsa of a defect in certain model year 2008-2010 motor coaches fitted with ricon public use lifts. The restraint belt on these lifts was designed to prevent the lift from moving, unless the tongue of the belt is fully engaged and latched in the buckle. Ricon has discovered, however, that it is possible for the operator to insert the belt tongue into the buckle without fully engaging the latching mechanism. In this case, the restraint belt would appear to be latched, and the operator could run the lift. If the restraint belt tongue is not fully engaged into the restraint belt buckle, and latched, the lift may operate with an occupant on the platform.

Prevost will provide customers with a warning decal and a dvd-based training aid. The recall began on june 14, 2010. • Recall 82189 [USA]: In the event of a crash, a seat occupant may not be properly restrained increasing the risk of personal injury.
  Prevost is recalling 81 my 2008-2009 x3-45, h3-41, and h3-45 motor coaches. During production the wrong grade 5 bolts were used to install the pedestal of the passenger seat. There is a possibility that the bolts would break at installation or during the normal use of the vehicle.

  On certain vehicles, the engine calibration for the “limp home” mode was inadvertently set too high at 1750 rpm instead of 1200 rpm. Should the “limp home” mode be activated, the increased idle speed may cause sudden and unexpected acceleration, which could result in very high vehicle speeds and make it difficult to slow or stop the vehicle if the transmission is not shifted into neutral. This could result in a crash causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: dealers will install updated engine calibration software.

  On certain vehicles, the accelerator pedal throttle position sensor could fail. A faulty throttle position sensor will send a permanent idle signal to the engine control unit (ecu). As such, depressing the accelerator pedal will provide no throttle response whatsoever. Loss of vehicle propulsion, in conjunction with traffic and road conditions, and the driver’s reactions, could increase the risk of a crash causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: dealers will replace the accelerator pedal throttle position sensor.

  On certain vehicles equipped with a ricon f9 series cassette wheelchair lift, an improperly manufactured switch in the wheelchair lift restraint buckle may allow operation of the lift with the safety belt not fully latched. If the belt is not properly fastened, a wheelchair may not be adequately protected against unwanted movement, resulting a fall risk, potentially causing serious injury or death. Correction: the manufacturer will provide instructional information and warning decals.

  On certain vehicles, the screws fixing the passenger seats pedestal assembly to the floor rail system may not be to specifications and may break. If the letter "p" is present on top of bolt head, they must be replaced. Failure of these bolts may cause injury to passenger.
