  • Recall 203130 [USA]: A high pressure fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source can increase the risk of a fire.
    Temsa (temsa) is recalling certain 2020 ts45 motorcoaches equipped with certain cummins x12 diesel engines. The fuel tubes between the fuel rail and the injectors for cylinders four, five, and six may fatigue and crack, which can result in a high pressure fuel leak.
    on engines with 75 miles or less, dealers will install vibration isolators to the fuel tubes. Engines with more than 75 miles will receive new fuel tubes with vibration isolators, free of charge. The manufacturer has not yet provided a schedule for recall notification. Owners may contact temsa's customer service at 1-833-628-3672.

  • Recall 230728 [USA]: A broken handle wire on the emergency exit can delay passengers from exiting the vehicle during an emergency, increasing their risk of injury.
    Temsa is recalling certain 2014-2020 ts45 buses. The external release handle for the roof emergency exit may have a rusted wire, which could break when force is applied to open the exit. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of federal motor vehicle safety standard number 217, "bus emergency exits and window retention and release."
    temsa service centers will replace the external handle wire, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed on august 12, 2021. Owners may contact temsa customer service at 1-800-625-9319.

  • Recall 190384 [USA]: A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source increases the risk of a fire.
    Temsa is recalling certain 2018-2021 ts35 and 2018-2020 ts45 vehicles. The sealing washer may not seat correctly in the pilot bore holes, allowing the high pressure fuel rail assembly to leak.
    cummins will inspect the rail threads and fuel lines, and replace the rail as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed on july 30, 2021. Owners may contact temsa customer service at 1-800-625-9319.

  • Recall 145881 [USA]: Delays in opening emergency exits can increase the risk of an injury in the event of an emergency.
    Temsa global sanayi ve ticaret a.S. (temsa) is recalling 2013-2020 certain ts35c, ts35e and ts45 buses. The instruction label of the emergency exit windows may be inadequate to clearly describe how to open the push out windows quickly. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of federal motor vehicle safety standard (fmvss) number 217, "bus emergency exits and window retention and release."
    temsa will notify owners, and dealers will inspect and replace the labels, as necessary, free of charge. The recall began october 16, 2019. Owners may contact temsa customer service at 1-407-271-8935.

  • Recall 143343 [USA]: Loss of hydraulic steering fluid pressure may affect steering ability, increasing the risk of a crash.
    Temsa is recalling certain 2014-2019 ts45 buses. The hydraulic hoses of the steering system may leak or burst during operation of the vehicle.
    temsa will notify owners, and dealers will inspect and replace the hydraulic hoses, free of charge. The recall began september 9, 2019. Owners may contact temsa customer service at 1-833-628-3672.

  • Recall 2021383 [Canada]: Structure
    Issue: on a small number of buses, the outer handle for the roof hatch (emergency exit) could rust and break. If this happens, it would be difficult to open the roof hatch from outside the bus. Safety risk: an emergency exit that is difficult to open could increase the risk of injury in an emergency. Corrective actions: temsa will notify owners by mail and provide you with a replacement roof hatch handle and instructions for installing it. Alternatively, you can take your bus to a temsa service center to have the handle replaced.

  • Recall 2021329 [Canada]: Fuel supply
    Issue: on certain vehicles, the fuel rail assembly could develop a leak. Note: this recall only affects vehicles equipped with a cummins l9 or isx12 diesel engine. Safety risk: a fuel leak can create the risk of a fire. Corrective actions: cummins will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a cummins authorized service center to inspect the fuel rail. If damage is found, the fuel rail and fuel lines will be replaced. If no damage is found, the fuel rail will be reassembled with new crush washers using a special tool.

  • Recall 2019513 [Canada]: Label
    Issue: on certain buses, the labels for the push-out emergency exit windows do not have clear directions for how to open the window. Safety risk: in an emergency situation, a person that cannot quickly understand how to open an emergency exit window could have an increased risk of injury. Corrective actions: temsa will notify owners by mail and instruct them to take their vehicle to a temsa service center to inspect the emergency exit window labels, and replace them as necessary. Alternatively, temsa will provide owners with the replacement labels and instructions for installing them.

  • Recall 2019425 [Canada]: Steering
    Issue: on certain buses, the hydraulic steering hoses may be not be routed properly. As a result, the hoses may be damaged during use. This could cause a hyraulic fluid leak and a loss of power steering assist. Safety risk: a loss of power steering assist would result in a sudden increase in steering effort, especially at low vehicle speeds. This could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective actions: the company will notify owners and instruct them to inspect routing of the hydraulic steering hoses. If the hoses are found damaged, they will be replaced and re-routed as necessary.
