  Honda (american honda motor co.) is recalling certain 2013-2023 honda accord, civic coupe, civic sedan, civic hatchback, civic type r, cr-v, hr-v, ridgeline, odyssey, acura ilx, mdx, mdx hybrid, rdx, rlx, tlx, 2019-2022 honda insight, passport, 2020 honda cr-v hybrid, 2018-2019 honda clarity phev, fit, and 2015-2020 honda accord hybrid, pilot, acura nsx vehicles. The fuel pump inside the fuel tank may fail.

• Recall 136129 [USA]: In the event of a crash, if the seat does not remain secured to the floor, the seat occupant has an increased risk of injury.

The front driver and passenger powered seats in the honda vehicles and the driver powered seats in the acura vehicles may have been assembled with improperly manufactured rivets. In the event of a crash, the rivets can break causing the seats not to be secured to the floor. As such, these vehicles may fail to comply with the requirements of federal motor vehicle safety standard (fmvss) number 207, "seating systems," and 210, "seat belt assembly anchorages."

  Issue: on certain vehicles, the teeth on the timing belt may separate due to a manufacturing issue. This could result in an engine stall. Safety risk: an engine stall could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective actions: the company will notify owners by mail and instruct them to take their vehicle to a dealer to inspect the lot number on the timing belt. If it is within the affected range, the belt will be replaced. Additionally, dealers will inspect the engine for internal damage.

  Issue: on certain vehicles, water could enter the tail lamps located on the tailgate. This could cause the tail lamps not to work properly. This could also cause a fuse to blow, which could result in a complete loss of rear lighting. Safety risk: a loss of rear lighting could make the vehicle less visible and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective actions: the company will notify owners by mail. Owners will be instructed to take their vehicle to a dealer to inspect the tailgate lid lamps. If either lamp is not working, the dealer will replace both lamps and inspect/replace the fuse. If both tailgate lid lamps are working, the dealer will modify the lamps, and install updated gaskets and wiring.

  Certain vehicles equipped with power driver and passenger seats may fail to conform to canada motor vehicle safety standard (cmvss) 207 - anchorage of seats and cmvss 210 – seat belt anchorages. The front driver and/or passenger seats may have been assembled with improperly manufactured rivets to secure the seat slide rails to the forward seat feet. In the event of a crash, the rivets may break and allow the front seat(s) to separate from the seat feet, which would fail to meet the requirements of the standard(s), and could increase the risk of injury to the seated occupant. Correction: for pilot models, dealers will replace the “h” frame (seat rail assembly), on both front seats, and for affected mdx models, dealers will replace the driver’s seat frame assembly.

Multiple times i have been traveling on the highway and my car would suddenly decrease in speed and stall out. I would go from 75mph to 45mph very quickly. It would then suddenly accelerate again and go back to normal. This is extremely dangerous and could lead to a deadly accident.

As i was unloading the car i saw and smelled smoke which then erupted into a fire coming from the engine compartment. We called 911 and when the fd arrived the car was totally engulfed as was my building. Suspect fuel line leak. Insurance company investigating. Fd says acura mdx was cause of fire. Dangerous situation as no prior indicators from vehicle, recalls, etc.. Photos available if needed. If gone unnoticed, entire structure could have been lost.

Early this morning i was cleaning snow on the roof of my car with a snow brush. When i finished i proceed to seat in the driver seat to drive off to work and i didn't realize i had glass on my seat and i sat on it. I looked up and noticed my sunroof glass was shattered with a hole in the middle of the glass. The outside temperature was in the high 20's and i used the same snow removal brush on the same car last year!
