Dt: 2001 hyundai xg. The consumer states the vehicle has had engine troubles all summer long. The vehicle would lunge while sitting at a stop light. The timing belt has been changed twice; the engine was coughing, gagging and idling funny. Spark plugs, spark plug wires and coils were replaced to try and fix this problem. The air bag light was coming on and off. This was finally fixed when they changed the air bag sensor. *ak *nm

While driving consumer applied the brakes and pedal went to the floor. Consumer was able to maintain control, and drove vehicle to the dealer for inspection. Mechanic determined that master cylinder needed to be replaced. Consumer informed the mechanic that master cylinder was replaced, but the problem recurred. *ak
