However, some solvents may be harmful to the vehicle's body paint and some plastic parts. Many Mitsubishi dealers have reported good results using Biosol 100 cleaning solvent to remove RAP-Film adhesive residue. This bulletin contains instructions and Material Safety Data Sheets for Biosol 100 use. Biosol 100 cleaning solvent is available from: Westmar Products 10729 47th Avenue West Mukilteo, WA 98275 Phone: (425) 405-1405 Fax: (425) 405-1407 Email: [email protected] AFFECTED VEHICLES All Models PROCEDURE 1. Use Biosol 100 solvent full strength (undiluted). 2. Do not apply Biosol 100 in bright sunlight. Park the vehicle in a shaded area before applying Biosol 100. 3. Apply Biosol 100 to the affected area. Allow it to work for 3 to 5 minutes. 4. Rinse with water or remove the solvent by wiping with a clean rag. If necessary, apply Biosol 100 a second time. 5. When rinsing the solvent off the vehicle, be sure the solution is not disposed of through storm drains/sewers. Dispose of in accordance with local, state, and Federal regulations. 6.
