Dear Dealers,
This bulletin is to inform you that “TiltWatch” tilting indicators have been introduced on the
packages containing complete engines in order to monitor the proper handling practices
during transport and assist in identifying potential damage.
The purpose of the “TiltWatch” tilting indicator is to identify and record an excessive
inclination of a package that must remain in vertical position; once applied, the package
cannot be tilted without evident proof of improper handling. An additional special mechanism
prevents any tampering/reactivation.
To check whether the “TiltWatch” indicator has
been activated or not, simply check the label color:
Red: tilting indicator activated due to improper
handling (the package was tilted or completely
turned upside-down);
Grey: tilting indicator not activated (the standard
handling procedures have been complied with
during transport by air and sea).
