Nissan Juke Nismo Rs 2017

• Recall 134019 [USA]: If brake fluid leaks into the brake booster it can lengthen the distance needed to stop the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.
  Nissan north america, inc. (nissan) is recalling certain 2015-2017 nissan juke nismo rs vehicles. Due to a problem within the brake master cylinder, brake fluid may leak into the brake booster, reducing brake performance.
  nissan will notify owners, and dealers will replace the brake master cylinder, free of charge. The recall began march 19, 2018. Owners may contact nissan customer service at 1-800-647-7261.

Approx 1:00 p.M. I pulled into the wendy's drive through and the line was wrapped around the building. There was a large like ford truck in front of me. I sat there maybe 1 min and i thought felt my car jump (and i thought 'what was that'), then the truck pulled up and the second i removed my foot from the brake, my car felt like an airplane and i plowed into the truck in front of me (i had no control). My car kept going until he it knocked him out of the line of the drive through line and my car kept going across the parking lot then up onto the curb, but it stopped before hitting a tree. I was terrorized. I had the brakes pushed down to the floor and it felt like they were in something soft, nothing happened. Called the police and filed a report, called state farm to start the claim. I first called lee nissan to tell them what happened, and talked with patrick in service. He had notes that everytime i came in i told about the car lunging. State farm set up the car to go to capital ford next door and set up a rental car. I was a mess. While on the phone in the parking lot a gentleman parked by me came and told me he had the same thing happen to his nissan versa (the car he was driving), he talked to state farm, and said nissan had file about his situation but it happened just like me. My traction light and brake light repeatedly have come on and remain on over the course of the last year but have not come up as part of any of the safety recalls that are affecting other nukes that were built during the same time period. In addition, my car makes a humming sound as if engaging the traction system at each stop. I've had the car serviced and the brakes changed but to no avail, the lights have returned a mere 3 weeks after getting new porcelain brakes and rotors installed. My car is still not part of the recall but i do believe there is indeed an issue with my brake and traction system and it is going to fail me at some point despite nissan not wanting to fix this.

My 2017 awd juke has only 16,000 miles on it and already needs the front tires replaced. The back tires look almost new. I took it in to have the tires rotated and was told they are too worn to rotate and would need to buy 4 new tires. The other problem is the car would not start sometimes. It is push button start. I noticed the green key light flashing on the dash. After reading the manuel, i replaced the battery in the fob. That did not rectify the problem. The brake pedal will not engage to start the car. It is currently parked in the garage and i have no idea how we will be able to move it since it can not be put in gear without being turned on.

The engine would not restart and the vehicle was towed to an independent mechanic. The mechanic did not assist. The vehicle was driven to crowney nissan (1451 farmington ave, bristol, ct 06010, (860) 540-0555) where it was determined that the vin was not included in a recall; therefore, the contact would have to pay for the repairs. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and no assistance was provided. The failure mileage was 94,000. The vin was invalid.

The break sensor is faulty on jukes. Your vehicle will be in park but the car is not registering this, thus you can not turn the car on without "jiggling" the wires that lead to the break sensor. Have had the sensor replaced before and this still continues to happen.

While waiting for a light to change i noticed a puff of smoke coming from under the hood of my car on the passenger side. It quickly turned into billows of smoke. My sister and i quickly got my grandchildren out of the car and over to a safe area. The smoke became dark brown and then black and burst into flames. Luckily the fire department was very prompt. However, the vehicle filled with smoke and the windshield burst out. This car had only 13,000 kms. It was a very frightening vent and my family's safety was severely compromised.This has been reported to department of transport in canada

Tl* the contact owned a 2017 nissan juke. While driving approximately 30 mph, a burning odor was present inside the vehicle. The contact noticed smoke under the hood and pulled into a fuel station. When the contact opened the hood of the vehicle, black smoke poured out of the engine. Within minutes, the vehicle burst into flames. The fire department extinguished the fire. A police report was filed and there were no injuries. The vehicle was towed to a towing garage where it was deemed destroyed. The vehicle was not taken to a dealer. The contact called bedford nissan at (440) 791-2212 (located at 18115 rockside rd, bedford, oh 44146) and was informed to contact the manufacturer.
