• Recall 231647 [USA]: Improperly adjusted headlights may not illuminate the road properly, or cause a glare to oncoming drivers, which can increase the risk of a crash.
  Porsche cars north america, inc. (porsche) is recalling certain 2003-2020 porsche macan, cayenne, panamera, and cayman s, 2001-2004 boxster, boxster s, 2004 boxster 50 jahre spyder 550 vehicles. Please see the recall report for a complete list of all affected models and model years. The caps that cover the low-beam headlight horizontal adjustment screws are missing, which can allow the headlights to be improperly adjusted. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of federal motor vehicle safety standard number 108, "lamps, reflective devices, and associated equipment."

The bushing that attaches the gear selector lever to the gearbox may degrade over time, causing the bushing to detach. This condition could allow the driver to move the shift lever to park and remove the ignition key, while the transmission may not be in park, with no warning message or audible chime.
  porsche will notify owners, and dealers will replace the shifter cable bushing, free of charge. Owners are instructed to use the parking brake until their vehicle is repaired.   Issue: on certain vehicles, the transmission shifter could detach from the transmission. This could cause the transmission not to shift gears when the shifter is moved. As a result, the transmission could be in a different gear than the gear shifter indicates. If a driver attempts to exit the vehicle while the transmission is not in park, and the parking brake is not applied, the vehicle could move suddenly. Safety risk: sudden and unexpected movement of the vehicle could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective actions: porsche will notify owners by mail and instruct them to take their vehicle to a dealer to replace the shifter cable bushing. Owners are reminded to use the parking brake anytime the vehicle is parked.

• Recall 2019200 [Canada]: Electrical
  Issue: on certain cars, water could leak into the air conditioning blower control unit. Over time, this could cause a short circuit that could cause it to melt or burn. This could happen while driving or after the vehicle is parked and shut off. Safety risk: a short circuit in the blower control unit could create the risk of a fire. Corrective actions: porsche will notify owners by mail and advise them what to do. When a remedy is available, owners will be requested to bring their car to a dealership for repair. Owners are advised to park their car outdoors until the recall repairs have been completed.

Blower unit recalled. Told may result in spontaneous combustion and fire when vehicle parked. Made appointment with hennessy porche atlanta for replacement. Appointment made 2 months away from call due to need by hennessy to have part available. Was called day before appointment that part not available and had to reschedule. Was told porche's calf for not sending parts. Either hennessy porche or porche at fault but my safety at risk and no resolutions made for me at this time.
