The contact owns a 2020 nissan rogue. The contact stated while driving 55 mph, the vehicle independently came to an abrupt stop as the automatic emergency brake warning light appeared on the instrument panel. The contact was able to resume normal driving after the failure however, the warning light remained illuminated on the instrument panel. Neither the dealer nor the manufacturer was notified of the failure. The vehicle was not diagnosed nor repaired. The failure mileage was 4,863.
