• Recall 242138 [USA]: Without instructions, the head restraints may be improperly adjusted, increasing the risk of injury in the event of a crash.
  Ford motor company (ford) is recalling certain 2018-2023 expedition and lincoln navigator vehicles equipped with third-row seating; and 2019-2023 f-super duty f-250, f-350, f-450, and f-550 supercab vehicles. The owner's manual does not include instructions for adjusting or removing certain head restraints. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of federal motor vehicle safety standard number 202, "head restraints."
  ford will mail the owner's manual addendums that describe how to adjust and remove the head restraints for the center seating positions, free of charge. • Recall 203861 [USA]: A rearview camera that displays a blank or distorted image can reduce the drivers view of what is behind the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.
  Ford motor company (ford) is recalling certain 2019 f-150, super duty f-250, f-350, f-450, and f-550 vehicles. Due to a poor electrical connection, the rearview camera may intermittently display a blank or distorted image. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of federal motor vehicle safety standard number 111, "rear visibility."

• Recall 157657 [USA]: A vehicle fire could result if materials ignite inside the vehicle.
  Ford motor company (ford) is recalling certain 2017-2019 f-super duty f-250, f-350, f-450, and f-550 supercrew cab vehicles with carpet flooring. If a front seat belt pretensioner deploys as the result of a crash, the sparks may ignite materials such as carpeting or insulation within the b-pillar area.
  ford will notify owners, and dealers will apply heat resistant tape to the carpet and its insulation, and modify the b-pillar insulation as necessary, free of charge. • Recall 141709 [USA]: A seat back with an improperly assembled recliner mechanism may have reduced strength and may not adequately restrain an occupant in a crash, increasing the risk of injury.
  Ford motor company (ford) is recalling certain 2018-2020 f-150 and 2019-2020 f-250, f-350, f-450, and f-550 super duty pickup trucks, and 2018-2019 ford explorer, 2019-2020 expedition, and 2020 escape vehicles equipped with driver and/or passenger's manual front seat back recliner mechanisms. Also included are certain 2020 ford explorer and lincoln aviator vehicles equipped with rear outboard seats and manual seat back recliner mechanisms. The recliner mechanisms may be missing the third pawl required for seat back strength, resulting in a loose seat back. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of federal motor vehicle safety standard (fmvss) numbers 202, "head restraints" and 207, "seating systems."

During the previous repair, the block heater cable's splice connector may have been damaged.

  Watts manufacturing, llc (watts manufacturing) is recalling certain 2019 first responder vehicles built on ford f-550 chassis and equipped with whelen brake lights. Depending on the specific wiring of the vehicle, these brake lights may illuminate when the brake pedal has not been pressed. • Recall 2022282 [Canada]: Visual system
  Issue: on certain vehicles, an electrical problem with the rearview camera could cause it not to work properly. As a result, the rearview image may be distorted or not display at all. Note: this is an expansion of recall 20c19 (transport canada recall 2020-454). Safety risk: a rearview camera image that does not display could reduce a driver's ability to see behind the vehicle while backing up. This could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective actions: ford will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace the rearview camera.

• Sogefi secondary diesel fuel filter leak investigation # PE24014

  The office of defect investigations (odi) has received 27 complaints alleging diesel fuel leaks due to a fracture in the secondary fuel filter housing in model year (my) 2015-2021 ford motor company (ford) f-250, 350, 450, and 550 super duty vehicles equipped with 6.7l diesel engines. Of these complaints, 12 describe an engine compartment fire. The proximity of the secondary fuel filter to high heat sources creates a potential for autoignition thermal events and fires. Odi has contacted the vehicle manufacturer, ford, and the filter manufacturer, allevard sogefi usa (sogefi), and learned that the low-pressure fuel system is capable of a maximum operating pressure of 8.5 bar, while the secondary fuel filter is only tested to seven (7) bar during the manufacturing process. Additionally, changes starting in 2022 by both ford and sogefi align with a lack of similar complaints on my 2022 and newer vehicles. Odi is opening this preliminary evaluation (pe) to evaluate the severity of the potential problem and to fully assess the potential safety-related problems. Trailer connection wiring fault causes dash board to flash multiple times indicating trailer disconnected or trailer light bulbs are not working and will repeatedly flash on dash making dinging sounds. This is happening without a trailer connected as well. (take not previous years of ford vehicles have had the same issue)
