  Certain federal-mogul replacement wheel hub assemblies with the brand names: national, carquest p/nos. 515020, 515021, 515025, 515053, 515054, 515059, and 515060, shipped between january 23, 2006, and december 20, 2007, sold for light duty and medium duty trucks. The inboard retention nut used to maintain hub bearing assembly can loosen resulting in an abs light indication, noise, and/or wheel separation.

• Recall 59940 [USA]: This condition may cause an inadequate seal at the connection, potentially leading to a fuel leak. in the presence of an ignition source, a fire could occur.
  Certain replacement fuel filters, fram brand name p/n g3727, with date codes x52911 through x60801 sequentially or x600141 and a mexico country or origin marking on the fuel filter housing manufactured from october 18, 2005, through march 21, 2006, sold for use on the vehicles listed above and on certain school buses. (to see the school bus engine sizes, click on "document search" and then "bus applications"). The connector on the fuel filter was not manufactured to honeywell's specification. As a result, the o-ring may not seat correctly on the fuel line.

• Recall 56234 [USA]: A lap portion of the seat belt routing that is not low and snug on the hips can allow the lap belt to ride up on an occupant's abdomen instead of fitting low around their hipbones, and therefore, can expose them to more risk of abdominal and internal organ injury.
  On certain crew cab pickup trucks and sport utility vehicles, the 2nd row center occupant seat belt routing may make it difficult to position the lap portion of the safety belt low around the hips of occupants, especially smaller occupants, seated in this position. Appropriate use of a child seat or booster seat, as recommended for small children, does improve the fit condition for this user group. In addition to instructions on proper infant and young child restraint (with child seats or boosters), special verbiage for restraining older child is included in the owner's manual. Also, the suggested seat belt fit/routing for adults, irrespective of seating position, is described in the owner's manual text.

• Recall 42640 [USA]: Consequently, the valve o-ring seal may fracture. steering efforts may be slightly increased while braking or parking. under certain driving conditions, a fractured seal may require a slight increase in the applied brake pedal effort to achieve the same vehicle deceleration rate as prior to the seat fracture.

• Recall 2011074 [Canada]: Heater and defroster
  On certain vehicles, the interface between the electrical terminals of the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (hvac) blower relay resistor module and the wiring connector (which powers the module) may be incapable of conducting higher current levels for sustained periods of operation. In addition, moisture and other contaminants (such as road de-icing materials) may enter the fresh air intake plenum and contact the internal circuit of the module or corrode the terminals. These conditions may cause the relay resistor module or wiring connector to overheat, causing various symptoms such as: the hvac blower may not function on certain or all blower speed settings; a burning-plastic smell or smoke may be present in the vehicle, or; the hvac blower may run continually with the ignition in the off position. These warning signs could, in certain instances, be leading indicators of an impending vehicle fire, which could result in property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: owners will be provided with additional warranty coverage for the blower motor resistor module/wiring connector overheating condition. Under this "special warranty coverage", should this condition occur within 10 years or 240,000 km from first vehicle registration, dealers will install a replacement blower motor resistor and resistor module connector.

  On certain vehicles, the 2nd row centre occupant seat belt routing may make it difficult to position the lap portion of the safety belt low around the hips of occupants. • Recall 2004037 [Canada]: Brakes
  On certain vehicles, the relief valve o-ring seal within the brake hydro-boost module could fail. If this happens during braking applications, the driver may be able to hear an engine compartment noise similar to the sound that occurs when the steering wheel is turned to a full stop position. The driver could also experience a slight increase in steering efforts while braking and parking. Under certain driving conditions, a slight increase in the applied brake pedal effort may be required to achieve the same vehicle deceleration rate as prior to the seal failure. Correction: dealers will inspect the hydro-boost module, and replace it, if necessary.

My kids and i was on the interstate and all of sudden my yukon reduce engine power.Dropping to 30 in a speed zone of 70.I was very afraid for our safety and appreciate there concerns for reducing engine power to save the truck,but that's very dangerous. So i paid to replace the throttle body and gas pedal cause that was the codes for the problem. But it's still doing the same thing and i don't have money to keep buying parts.Plus it a gm problem and i really need some help with the fixture..

Tl* the contact owns a 2004 gmc yukon. While the vehicle was undergoing routine maintenance, it was discovered that the entire subframe of the vehicle was rusted and corroded. The cause of the failure was not determined. The vehicle was not repaired. King o'rouke gmc (756 smithtown bypass, smithtown, ny) was notified of the failure. The manufacturer was not contacted. The failure mileage was 160,000. The vin was unknown.

Tl* the contact owns a 2004 gmc yukon. While driving at a moderate rate of speed, the brake line failed without warning. The contact had the vehicle towed to an independent mechanic who determined that a brake line had burst and that another brake line was on the verge of bursting. The vehicle was towed to four seasons ford (601 duncan hill rd, hendersonville, nc 28792, (828) 693-4281) where they informed the contact that they would only give him half the money he put down for the vehicle or provide him with another vehicle of the same value. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The vehicle had not been repaired. The failure mileage and vin were unknown.

Tl* the contact owns a 2004 gmc yukon. The contact stated that the abs warning indicator illuminated intermittently. The contact took the vehicle to a certified mechanic who diagnosed that the brake pads needed replacing, the drums needed to be rotated, and new brake lines were needed. The vehicle was repaired. Shortly after the repairs, when the contact began to drive the vehicle, the abs warning indicator illuminated intermittently. The contact took the vehicle to excel chevrolet (located at 1765 us highway 59 s, jefferson, tx 75657), but the cause of the failure could not be determined. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 160,000.

Rusted brake lines (both) rusted and failed at a critical time putting motorist in dangerous situation at time of failure. Exiting highway at posted speed with few options on how to stop vehicle.

I was on my way home from work. I ended up getting just a few rain drops so i click my wiper switch one time, it didn't come on. ( puzzled ) so i repeated to get to water off window ,1 click at a time the wipers didn't come on until i was at high. Of course , now they are on high and rain is gone, now i can't get the blades to stop in the off position. Well, i had to pull over i couldn't concentrate on what just happened to my wipers? As well as drive. This happened on july 10, 2019. I've called gmc a couple times, 1st time they just closed next time i didnt transfer to service dept . I just think , there should be something to notify you , i just happened to get home before the storm hit. I was on a county road when it happened. Thank you for your time.

Stability control disabled comes on with engine power reduced. This happened as i as driving in the highway. Speed drastically reduced form 65 to 10 mph. I could have been killed. Gm is aware of this problem and will not act until there's a fatality because of this issue. I am afraid to drive this vehicle. Nhtsa has received numerous complaints regarding this issue and has not acted. The electrical system is not correct -this is very dangerous
