SERVICE:
Replace the sealing strip and glue it in each end it according to the method in VIDA, search for VCC ID:
VCC-508558-1 or VST Op.No 83684-2
Glue PN: Würth catalogue PN 0893092
Sealing strip PN: 31484660
In normal conditions, even if there is a gap in the sealing trim, incoming rain water will be avacuated
thru the sunroof drainage hoses.
In rare conditions, an extensive gap may lead to water leak from the sunroof frame but only if extensive
amount of dirt and debrise have accumulated in the gutter, or if any of the water drainage hoses is
blocked due to dirt and debris. If the customer has reported water leakage in combination of a large gap
in the sealing strip, please replace the sealing strip but also check the sunroof drainage function and
clean if necessary. If any of the drainage hoses is found deformed (kinked), then replace that hose as
well. Official cleaning method for this add-on repair is not yet developed, in the meantime use General
Operation and send a Vehicle Report with photos (Support Not Needed).
