• Recall 51736 [USA]: A misprinted label could lead to improper vehicle loading specifications or tire inflation which could result in a tire failure, increasing the risk of a crash.
  Certain trucks and sport utility vehicles fail to conform to the requirements of federal motor vehicle safety standard no. 110, "tire selection and rims." these vehicles were shipped with tire and loading information labels listing an inacccurate vehicle capacity weight.
  owners will be provided with corrected labels and installation instructions. At the customer's option, a dealer can install the label for them. The recall began on march 31, 2006. • Recall 2011074 [Canada]: Heater and defroster
  On certain vehicles, the interface between the electrical terminals of the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (hvac) blower relay resistor module and the wiring connector (which powers the module) may be incapable of conducting higher current levels for sustained periods of operation. In addition, moisture and other contaminants (such as road de-icing materials) may enter the fresh air intake plenum and contact the internal circuit of the module or corrode the terminals. These conditions may cause the relay resistor module or wiring connector to overheat, causing various symptoms such as: the hvac blower may not function on certain or all blower speed settings; a burning-plastic smell or smoke may be present in the vehicle, or; the hvac blower may run continually with the ignition in the off position. These warning signs could, in certain instances, be leading indicators of an impending vehicle fire, which could result in property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: owners will be provided with additional warranty coverage for the blower motor resistor module/wiring connector overheating condition. Under this "special warranty coverage", should this condition occur within 10 years or 240,000 km from first vehicle registration, dealers will install a replacement blower motor resistor and resistor module connector.

• Recall 2006195 [Canada]: Fuel supply
  On certain vehicles, the engine fuel rail pulse damper retainer clip may fracture, resulting in inadequate retention of the damper. If the damper comes loose, a fuel leak may result. Fuel leakage in the presence of an ignition source could result in a fire. Correction: dealers will replace the engine fuel rail pulse damper retainer clip.

Brake failure. Exiting parking lot onto city street brakes failed causing collision. Automotive repair: brake line corroded. Lines to weak to repair. Replace brake lines per gm kit. Remove and replace all metal brake lines front and rear, per brake line kit.

The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic where the technician informed that the hose was rubbing in the fuel tank causing a hole on the fuel line. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 165,000.

Driving 35mph on dry road. 2wd jump out of gear acted like went into neutral i had no drive or any of my gears came to a complete stop with no warning. Went to put in park it grind with loud noise. Only way to get truck to move was to put in 4wd

I made a stop, up on taking off my truck made it to second gear and i hear a loud broken noise, transmission went out on second gear.

I hit someone in the back of his car and did a lot of damage on my truck and my air bags did not open. The repair shop also ? Why. The front of my truck was pushed back approx. 6 to 10 inches. *tr

The contact shifted into a lower gear in order to stop the vehicle. The vehicle was towed to the dealer for inspection where they stated that the brake lines needed to be replaced. I was driving along at 60 mph and lightly accelerated and heard a clunk. I continued to drive along and slowed down to exit off the interstate. Then when got off the interstate and came up to a green arrow and turned left. Then as soon as i accelerated at 25 mph, i felt the transmission go out and heard a high pitch whine and some grinding. Then was not able to accelerate anymore. *tr

Airbag light came on, dashboard says service airbag, after vehicle sat for an hour after having been driven for over 250 miles that day. When the vehicle is started the light blinks as it's supposed to and goes out, then after a few seconds comes back on and stays on. *tr
