• Recall 247389 [USA]: Driver contact with a key in the collapsed position could inadvertently shut off the vehicle while driving, increasing the risk of a crash. additionally, if the vehicle shuts off while driving, the air bags may not deploy in a crash as intended, increasing the risk of injury.
  Nissan north america, inc. (nissan) is recalling certain 2014-2020 rogue and 2017-2022 rogue sport vehicles equipped with a jackknife style ignition key. The jackknife key may collapse into a folded position while driving.
  dealers will insert a spacer into the key slot of the jackknife key, free of charge. Interim notification letters notifying owners of the safety risk were mailed march 29, 2023. • Recall 189245 [USA]: A blown fuse may cause an engine stall, increasing the risk of a crash.
  Nissan north america, inc. (nissan) is recalling certain 2017-2019 rogue hybrid vehicles. Contact with the electronic control module (ecm) bracket may damage the engine harness, causing a blown fuse.

• Recall 151868 [USA]: The lack of an image in the back-up camera display increases the risk of a crash.
  Nissan north america, inc. (nissan) is recalling certain 2018-2019 nissan altima, armada, frontier, kicks, leaf, maxima, murano, nv, nv200, pathfinder, rogue, rogue sport, sentra, titan, titan diesel, versa note and versa sedan vehicles, as well as infiniti q50, q60, qx30 and qx80 vehicles. Additionally included are 2019 nissan gt-r and taxi and infiniti qx50, qx60, q70, q70l vehicles. The back-up camera and display settings can be adjusted such that the rear view image is no longer visible and the system will retain that setting the next time the vehicle is placed in reverse. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of federal motor vehicle safety standard (fmvss) number 111, "rear visibility."
  nissan will notify owners in phases, having dealers update the back-up camera settings software, free of charge. The recall began november 11, 2019 and all affected vins should be activated. • Recall 2019459 [Canada]: Visual system
  Issue: on certain vehicles, the rear view camera system does not return to the default setting when the transmission is shifted to reverse. This could cause a reduction in rear visibility if a driver had previously adjusted the camera display. Canadian regulations require that the rear view image returns to its original setting each time the camera is turned on. Safety risk: reduced rear visibility could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective actions: the company will notify owners by mail and instruct them to take their vehicle to a dealer to update the software for the rear view camera.

• False automatic emergency braking investigation # PE19010

  Nhtsa received a defect petition (dp19-001) from the center for auto safety (cas) on march 21, 2019 alleging that the automatic emergency braking (aeb) system on model year (my) 2017-2018 nissan rogue and rogue sport vehicles was engaging in cases where there was no obstruction in the path of the vehicle. The cas petition additionally alleges that, based on nissans actions, the manufacturer is aware of the issue due to issuing a technical service bulletin (tsb) launching two "quality actions," and initiating a "customer service initiative" in relation to it. Cas contends that nissans actions do not represent an adequate long-term solution to the problem, as the action is only available during the basic coverage period of the warranty. Cas also argues that the alleged failures are an unreasonable risk to safety and views nissans communications as not acknowledging the potential safety issue involved, instead treating the alleged problem as a performance update.The office of defects investigation (odi) analyzed vehicle owner questionnaire (voq) complaints received from consumers and identified a total of 129 unique subject vehicle reports (for all submission dates) alleging a false positive triggering of aeb. Of these complaints, three were identified that contained allegations of a collision resulting from the activation of the system, and all three indicating related injuries.In response to odis april 15, 2019 information request letter, nissan provided data indicating that it has received 750 unique subject vehicle complaints relating to false positive activation of the aeb system. Of these complaints, 12 were identified that contained allegations of a collision resulting from the activation of the system. Four complaints contained allegations of injuries, three of which were the result of a collision. These complaints included duplicates of complaints that odi received. The injury allegations were limited to soft tissue type injuries such as whiplash and bruising.Based on its review of the information identified to date, odi has granted the petition and is opening this preliminary evaluation in order to evaluate the cause, scope and frequency of aeb false positive activations, as well as to evaluate the suitability of the manufacturers campaign to address the concern or improve performance of the aeb system. Radiator fan assembly within the 2019 nissan rogue sport | car radiator was at risk of overheating and malfunctioning. Air conditioning would shut down as radiator overheated. This put drivers and passengers at risk. Since the fan does not work, the radiator and engine is at risk of overheating. | this problem has been confirmed by local midas service center as well as berman nissan of chicago. Both service center and dealer confirmed that they have seen this specific component malfunction specifically in 2019 nissan rogue sport vehicles. The component is on backorder nationwide due to the demand to replace. | check engine light appeared briefly after radiator overheated. Light then disappeared after car cooled down.

At 19000 miles my 2019 rogue sport stopped registering my gas level electronically. At the same time i started having random sudden flashes if bright light from the electronic dash lasting for a couple of seconds. I also started experiencing random issues with the climate control and entertainment controller. Both will at times just start adjusting themselves and randomly turning themselves on and off. Went to local dealership and was told that there were no issues they could find. Was told however that per a nissan service bulletin that as far as the gas reading i am not following appropriate fueling and i need to burn more fuel before i fill up. Funny that i have had no issues in the year and a half that i have car yet i have not changed my fueling routine. Was told i was on my own when it came to the other issues as they could not make a diagnosis. I also find it funny that they have a service bulletin for what the state is my fault. This bulletin shows me that others are experiencing the same thing. Appears they would rather wait for my warranty to expire so it will be more profitable for them.

With no prior issues, while accelerating from a full stop, the aeb system engaged on a clear roadway. I was traveling no more than 20 mph. The front collision warning beeped, warning lights on the dashboard flashed, the abs rumbled and slowed my vehicle. There was absolutely nothing on the roadway to trigger this. It was daylight and the road was dry and clear. There were no vehicles, pedestrians or even animals in my path. Had there been another vehicle behind me, i could have been rear ended. I've made an appt at the dealer and will have this looked into asap.

The high beam assist feature of vehicle is malfunctioned and yes it's available for inspection upon request. If the vehicle speed is above 40mph the high beam is turning off and setting the low beam by default even if there are no vehicles insight. In the night the vehicle will be always in low beam mode and hence affects the visibility in the night putting in high risk. No, the problem hasn't been confirmed or reproduced by the dealer. No, the vehicle or component hasn't been inspected by the manufacturer, police, insurance representatives or others. No warning lamps.

The contact owns a 2019 nissan rogue. The contact stated that the forward collision avoidance sensor would active independently while driving at various speeds. During the malfunction, the forward collision avoidance warning light was illuminated. The contact had taken the vehicle to an independent mechanic where she had the fault code was cleared from the system. The contact called a dealer and was informed that the vehicle might have collided with an object for the sensor to illuminate. The contact insisted that the vehicle had not struck an object. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 4,000

Had the car for less than 2 years and the fuel temperature sensor caused my check engine light to come on research shows that previous models were recalled due to a faulty fuel pump which is the way you repalce that sensor ive owned cars for much longer and never needed to replace the fuel pump on them a brand new car outside of warranty of course and already needing work done that costs several hundred dollars close to a grand - hands down the worst vehicle ive ever owned its stopped in the middle oftraffic before but of course dealership couldnt replicate that - the radio cosntantly unsyncs with devices never plays right i have to turn it off and turn it back on all in the same trip just to keep playing music everything from the purhcase of the vehicle to owning it has beena nightmare and apparently a costly one at that

I have experienced sudden acceleration, and sudden stalling on the highway, cobb pkwy, and at a zaxby's restaurant when i was driving my car on four or more occasions. I almost hit a car last week when my car suddenly accelerated. I steered my car to the right next to a curb to avoid a collision. I almost got hit by a car on cobb pkwy. When my car suddenly stopped on me while i was driving. I had my two autistic daughters in the car each time these events occurred. We were very scared each time this happened. This has happened to many other people who own nissan rogues and pathfinders. I think a recall should be issued on these cars before someone dies. Prayerfully, no one has died from these issues.
