• Recall 155526 [USA]: An inflator rupture may result in metal fragments striking the driver or other occupants resulting in serious injury or death.
  Nissan north america, inc. (nissan) is recalling certain 2012-2017 nv cargo and nv passenger van, 2013-2015 titan and armada and 2011-2012 infiniti qx56 vehicles. Due to a manufacturing issue, the air bag inflator may not function properly or may rupture during deployment.
  nissan will notify owners, and dealers will replace the front driver air bag inflators, free of charge. The recall began may 7, 2020. Owners may contact nissan customer service at 1-800-867-7669 or infiniti customer service at 1-800-662-6200.

• Recall 2020136 [Canada]: Airbag
  Issue: on certain vehicles, the driver-front airbag inflator could be defective. This could cause the airbag to deploy with more force than normal. It could also cause the inflator to rupture. If the airbag inflator ruptures, fragments could be propelled toward the occupants or cause damage to the airbag and prevent it from inflating properly. Safety risk: if the vehicle is involved in a crash where the airbag deploys, the airbag inflator could rupture and create a risk of injury or death. Corrective actions: the company will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to replace the driver-front airbag inflator or airbag module.

• Recall 2014539 [Canada]: Fuel supply
  On certain vehicles, the fuel pressure sensor connected to the engine fuel delivery rail may not have been sufficiently tightened during vehicle assembly. Should the pressure sensor loosen, fuel could leak past a gasket used in the connection between the sensor and the rail. Fuel leakage, in the presence of an ignition source, could result in a fire causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: dealers will inspect the pressure sensor and tighten to specification. Note: this is an expansion of recall 2012-074. Vehicles that were repaired under the previous campaign are not affected because that remedy would have corrected the subject condition.

Fuel leakage, in the presence of an ignition source, could result in a fire causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: dealers will inspect for fuel leakage from the pressure sensor and the fuel rail. If there are no signs of a fuel leak, the fuel pressure sensor will be tightened to specifications. If a fuel leak is confirmed, the gasket between the sensor and the fuel delivery rail will be replaced, and the sensor will be tightened.

  On certain vehicles, the filament in the bulb of the daytime running lamps (drl) may burn out due to a shorter lifespan than expected. A loss of drl illumination could render the vehicle less visible to other motorists and to pedestrians during daylight hours, possibly resulting in a crash causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: dealers will replace the daytime running lamp bulbs with a longer life type bulb.

While driving my 2011infiniti qx56 to work, the service engine light came on and the vehicle start losing power and shaking.After checking it i had codespoo21,poo87 and poo90. The codes are related to vvt solenoid and high pressure fuel pump.

Tl* the contact owns a 2011 infiniti qx56. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, there was an abnormal sound coming from the vehicle. The contact pulled over and inspected underneath the vehicle. The contact became aware that the rear lower control arm on the passenger's side was fractured in half. The driver's side rear control arm also showed evidence of a similar imminent failure. The vehicle was taken to an independnent mechanic where both control arms were scheduled to be replaced. The parts were on order from the manufacturer. Lia infiniti (860 new loudon rd, latham, ny 12110, (518) 738-0800) was contacted and informed of the failure. The contact was informed that the vin was not under recall. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 96,500.

Timing chain started rattling @ 125,000 miles.. However, my vin shows no recall for my car. Cats went bad, had to be replaced and now need to be replaced again. Yet no recall on my car. The battery constantly goes dead in the car. I bought a new infinity battery in the car the same thing happened. You can reproduce this problem by sitting in the car listening to the radio for 30 minutes. I was sitting in the car listening radio and the car battery went dead and the car shut off. This is a huge issue, the qx56 is a 8 cylinder car. It does not charge very easily. I have to carry a battery charger in my car. I have been stranded several times in the last year. I have taken the car to infinity and they claim nothing is wrong with the car. Since it is a big car the battery drain quickly.
